Announcement! Coastal Cafe and Bakery will be going through some changes over the next couple of months, and we wanted to let our customers what to expect over the spring time. First; The amazing news. Celine and Patrick are expecting a daughter towards the end of May. This is unexpected, humbling, and joyful news for us. To that end, we have to make some changes to our business. We will be adding some new dishes to our menu! some new baked goods, and with the large expansion last year to Table Service, we hope that this will keep everyone coming back for years to come. New menus should be out by the end of March! Now the bad news. We cannot keep baking breads, bagels, sticky buns, or croissants. WE WILL STILL HAVE SCONES AND MUFFINS! It is a melancholy thing, but is required for our sanity with the big changes in our business and family. We want to let everyone know that we did not make this decision lightly, but ultimately it needs to happen for at least the immediate future. We will be purchasing bread locally, and doing some new things with our baked goods case, including featuring some local bakers in the area. We haven't given it all up though! hopefully in the fall of 2020 we can once again expand into another bakery space, and bring back these great items we all love! A huge thank you to all of our customers that have supported us, and allowed us to serve you over the last 5 years. Here's to 5 More!

Coastal Cafe will be closed tomorrow 2-13 WEDNESDAY due to the storm. We look forward to seeing everyone when we reopen on Thursday 2-14. Stay safe everyone!

Coastal Cafe is OPEN today! Come warm up with some fresh corned beef hash, or our spicy biscuits and gravy!

We will be closed sunday 1-20 due to the incoming storm. Stay safe eveyone!

Unfortunately, Coastal Cafe and Bakery cannot continue doing dinner service at this time. We will be looking for ways to bring our dinner service back in the near future. WE WILL STILL BE OPEN 7AM - 3PM TUESDAY - SUNDAY. Closed on Mondays. We will keep everyone updated, and hopefully within a few weeks we can resume.

We will be closed on Christmas day. We are also not going to be doing dinners from now until the end of January. We have a lot of staff heading to see family over the holiday season, and will resume dinners on the 24th of January. Merry Christmas, happy holidays everyone!

We are now serving spirits! Here is our current top shelf. We have Beefeater, Jim Beam, Jack Daniel's, Jose Cuervo, Smirnoff, and Captain Morgan on well! Come have a drink. Open until 7:30 (last seating) Friday and Saturday nights.

Tonight coastal cafe and bakery will be closed to the public. We close at 3pm. Friends, family, and regulars of the brickhouse are welcome for a private wake to celebrate his life. No charge, pay what you can. Fries, drinks, laughter, and stories served. We will be here around 6:15 after the memorial is over.

We have some sad news. Lou Ares passed away this weekend, there will be a memorial service Saturday December 1st from 4pm-6pm at Youngs funeral home. This is a public service and if you have any pictures or memories you would like to share, it would be appreciated. If you cannot make the service and would like to bring flowers or memories, you can drop them off at the Cafe and we will be happy to move them along. Please share this post, Lou was one of my dearest friends, and I would like to reach as many people he has touched as possible. Rest in Peace brother.

Coastal cafe and Bakery will be closing early today Wed Nov 21st at noon, and closed tomorrow in observance of Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Check out our authentic Thai Plate! Hand made won-tons, light and crispy tempura vegetables, and a bed of thai vegetables with tangy dressing. Presented with a fresh side salad. We are serving on Fridays and Saturdays, last seating at 7:30pm!

We are open for dinner fridays and Saturdays, come and see us! Burgers, thai plates, steaks and pork chops! We still have our regular lunch menu available, come check out (in our opinion) the best Reuben in waldo county!

We hand layer our croissants. No Food Processors, No Margarine, No Frills. Just perfect, hand layered, hand rolled, buttery croissants.
